Windber Chiropractic, owned by Dr. Jason Zablotney, was established in 2006. In March 2017, Dr. Simone Flesik joined the practice. Both doctors are graduates of Palmer College of Chiropractic.
One technique used in the clinic is Blair Upper Cervical. There are only five offices in Pennsylvania with Blair technique doctors; and joining his practice makes Windber Chiropractic now the only office with two Blair doctors under the same roof. This technique is unique because of the specifically measured series of x-rays that show the posture of the neck and exactly where the joint misalignments are that are impacting nerves and causing problems. There is no guess work.
Adjustments with the Blair technique are gentle, do not involve twisting or cracking of the neck, and are geared towards creating a long lasting structural correction.
Many people suffering with conditions like chronic pain, migraines, headaches, back aches, and even things that most people wouldn’t associate with chiropractic often can find relief with specific chiropractic care. Dr. Zablotney and Dr. Flesik have knowledge and resources that can help anyone live a healthier life.
Simone Flesik, D.C.
A native of Greensburg, PA, Dr. Simone was introduced to chiropractic at a young age, receiving regular checkups as she grew up. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA in 2009 and is a 2013 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. In 2013, Dr. Flesik participated in Palmer College’s Clinic Abroad program, traveling to the Grenadine Islands providing chiropractic care to the people of the island of Bequia. During her time at Palmer, she discovered Blair Upper Cervical Technique which had a tremendous impact in alleviating her frequent headaches and heartburn that she suffered from on almost a daily basis. This experience inspired her to pursue further study in the Blair technique and practices it today. Dr. Simone gained her field experience working for an upper cervical specialty clinic in the Pittsburgh area prior to moving to Somerset County in 2015 where she fell in love with the community and the abundance of outdoor activities and festivals. She knew that this is exactly where she wanted to build her career. In her free time she enjoys kayaking and hiking the beautiful county.
